For March 2021, Nike continue with their recently launched sustainability programme, Move to Zero, with the introduction of another mash up design which gives a nod to their past running archives and classic Air Max styling. The Nike Air Max Pre-Day ‘Liquid Lime’ trainer draws design inspiration from classic Nike runners such as the Day Break from 1979 with a new sustainable spin.
The old meets new silhouettes boasts at least 20% recycled materials by weight & features 100% recycled polyester uppers in ‘Liquid Lime’ with recycled synthetic overlays in ‘pistachio frost’. Other highlights include black leather swooshes & a semi translucent tongue. The iconic Air Max air bags to the midsole remind us of OG classics such as the Air Max 1 with Nike’s latest ‘Grind Rubber’ to the outsole for added sustainability.
